The Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds (MARVAC) represents member dealers, campgrounds, manufacturers, suppliers and service companies throughout the state. MARVAC is a division of the Michigan Manufactured Housing, RV and Campground Association (MMH & RVCA).
MARVAC's Mission: Through legislation, education, marketing and public awareness, MARVAC works to improve the business climate for its members and to encourage growth in the recreation vehicle and private campground industries while contributing to the quality of Michigan tourism.
MARVAC Activities
Promotes RV and campground usage throughout Michigan by providing information to the media and the general public.
Provides educational member seminars and workshops on business practice, service and marketing.
Publishes RV & Campsite, a comprehensive directory of Michigan campgrounds with articles and information of interest to the RV enthusiast. RV & Campsite is available at no charge to the public, at all MARVAC camper and RV shows and by request at www.marvac.org.
Represents the RV and camping industries to the state legislature.
Maintains www.marvac.org, a comprehensive source of information about the RV and camping lifestyle.
Sponsors six camper and RV shows each year across Michigan's lower peninsula in Battle Creek, Flint, Novi (fall and winter), Port Huron and Traverse City.
