The 18th Annual Northwest Michigan Camper & RV Show is coming to the Grand Traverse County Civic Center
 The Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds (MARVAC) is sponsoring the 18th Annual Northwest Michigan Camper & RV Show, March 26-28, 2010, at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center in downtown Traverse City. Over 50 new recreation vehicles will be on display including folding campers, motorhomes, travel trailers and fifth wheel travel trailers. There's something for everyone—prices start at just $5,000 to more than $75,000. Booths featuring a large selection of parts and accessories, campground information, on site RV financing and RV rentals make this the complete RV show experience.
A "select your discount" coupon is available on www.marvac.org, at area Big Boy restaurants, Members Credit Union locations and in the Traverse City Record-Eagle. With this special coupon, consumers can choose one of two discounts offered—$1 off adult admission any day or $1 off senior admission on Friday.

Make plans now for summer camping
 When it comes to camping, the earlier you make your reservations at your favorite campground, the better. As many campers discover, campgrounds often fill up quickly during the summer season. The best time to make camping reservations is just before spring (now!), especially if you plan to camp on a major holiday weekend. If the campground of your choice is open seasonally, you'll want to pay attention to when it reopens and react accordingly. Make your reservations as soon as you know what days you're going.

Actor Jeff Daniels loves RVing, too!

Daniels drives his 42-foot Travel Supreme Class A motorhome around Michigan for his music tour in the midst of a snowstorm.
