Legislative Protection - We continue to monitor legislation that has been
introduced to relieve the park model taxation and licensing problem. We
serve as an advisor to the Department of Environmental Quality's Campground
Division in matters concerning campground rules and licensing. We work
closely with the Bureau of Automotive Regulation regarding dealer licensing.
The Communicator - Our informative e-newsletter keeps you informed of the current
events regarding your industry, and it provides an opportunity for members
to advertise.

MARVAC RV & Campsite directory - Each member company is listed in this
useful and attractive publication free-of-charge. 100,000 are distributed at MARVAC camper
and RV shows as well as at Michigan
Welcome Centers across the state. Members also have the opportunity to
advertise in the directory.
MARVAC's web site, located at http://www.marvac.org, offers members a place
to list their companies. You may also link your company's home page or e-mail
to the site.
Show Exposure - Only members can have their campground brochures handed out
at our special booth at the Novi (fall and winter show), Battle Creek,
Port Huron, Flint, and Traverse City camper and RV shows. The shows provide
exposure to over 200,000 potential RV buyers and campers.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance - Automatic coverage for active,
full-time members and/or designated executives, officers or managers of
MARVAC who are in good standing.
HARVEST Education Foundation - Provides scholarships for members, their families
and employees. Since 1995, $230,800 in University and college scholarships have been awarded to 424 students.
MARVAC PR Campaign - Educates consumers about the benefits of RVing & camping in Michigan. Supplies members with free marketing materials such as campground coupons, flyers and 4-color posters.
